GG round laces are already on the reverse chamois Indy’s. I like them and would buy again. I think those are particularly difficult to lace because the chamois is kind of sticky. I don’t have anything 9 eye in cordovan, perhaps those are easier to lace?- Disco Volante

The shell itself I agree, the insole itself appears to be fine. The liner basically just came off. The adhesive material they used just doubled over and lost its grip after only a few weeks. That is crazy! You’d think they would understand what to put on that where it wouldn’t come off after...- Disco Volante

$1345 for the new Mahogany Shell Vibergs and they look like this on the inside after a few weeks of wear. What a ****** product. I have 14 pairs of Aldens and I have never had workmanship fall apart like this. Is this normal? Do they just not know how to make boots with a Goodyear welt up there...- Disco Volante

Can anyone recommend a floor cleaning product for hardwood floors? ALL of my commando sole Aldens as well as Dainite sole C&J & Vibergs squeak horribly with what we are using now. Oh no! Glad I picked mine up a few months ago when I did. I think the only other option is Leather Soul, but you’d have better luck getting Alden to MTO you a #4 boot in your pattern of choice. I’m surprised nobody else makes them, it’s a really great boot.- Disco Volante

Is anyone currently stocking king wings with double Waterlock soles these days? I’ve been trying to find some #8 LWBs but the only ones I can find in stock anywhere are double oak. I think Leffot and Brogue were doing them at one point?- Disco Volante

All of my shell models still fit similarly to when they were brand new. All of my CXL models are just annoyingly sloppy now. Trying to figure out the best ways to tighten up the fit with CXL when it’s too hot for thick socks.- Disco Volante

Shoe Goo gently applied with a toothpick between the outsole and the commando sole. You’ll need to work it in there with a few swipes usually.
