    Yes, definitely on leather soles. I’ll reach out to C&J and see if it’s even a possibility to make it in Whiskey and with a short strap.

    I like the idea of these. Personally I prefer full strap loafers on a sleeker last, though, like Alden’s on the Aberdeen last. But this loafer in Whiskey shell and a short strap - not sure I could resist that. Maybe something for the MTO thread?

    Loafers are tricky since there are no shoelaces to help correct an imperfect fit. When it comes to widths, in the US the “normal” (or maybe one could say medium) width is D but in the UK it’s E.
