    Enzo Bonafe Handmade Shoes.

Hand made items are rarely uniform and 'perfect'. I, for one, appreciate how much character the leather has on those Enzos. I don't particulat care that they are not perfect straight (looks alright enough for me). The stitching looks great too.

The morality of using baby leathers, exotics or any sort of animal skin for shoes is a curious one. I would never judge anyone for the use of any kind of leathers (bar human) for their shoes. In the same breath, i can see the case for another person (not on this forum) who will object to us...

    Herring Shoes - Experiences?

I have the Grassmere and absolutely love it. It has a nice burnish after i applied wax on it. It is my favourite casual shoes. It is one of the pairs which i will gladly resole if needed. I have shoes from EG, Carmina, Enzo Bonafe, JFitzpatrick, Vass among others. And I will tell you that the...

My own experience with boots tell me that when in doubt, go big. The laces on boots will ensure the fit is okay even if the boots is slightly larger.

    J FitzPatrick Appreciation Thread

Insole measurement please. I want to see the difference in length and width. Yes, you recommended going 0.5 up, because i have a high instep and had issues with certain narrower lasts (Uetam, Simpson in UK9). I love the Madison 9.5 btw. It is easy to slip in and out, but wanted to see if i can...

    J FitzPatrick Appreciation Thread

Justin, i have the Madison in suede at 9.5UK. It is a tad loose but i have since used heel pads to mitigate the issue. Can you advise the measurement of the 9.5 vs the 9.0? I would like to see how much smaller the 9 is. I am a UK9 in most shoes/lasts. Thanks much.

I cannot really comment on the instep as my Rain lasted shoes are derbies. However, I share the same view that the 946 is 'shorter' than the Rain. And seems like everyone feels that the heel is wide on the Rain as well.

    Antonio Meccariello Shoes

Thanks @ThunderMarch " Design - This is one of my favourite adelaide designs to date. Some adelaides have the lower end of the facings markedly "flared out" which I find rather ugly. The curves on this pair give a very well balanced, classic aesthetic. " I share exactly the same sentiments...

    Meermin Mallorca Shoes

I have Carmina rain shoes in UK9 and a pair of Meermin Hiro books in UK9.5. I find it fits me both with thin or slightly thicker socks too.
