T M Lewin Super Fitted Shirts ?
They are my favourite line so far among TM Lewin offerings. I am fairly skinny and used mostly their Francombe/fitted/slim fit lines (sometimes with a little alterations here and there), this Super Fitted line fits me like a glove instead - not too tight, just perfect to every extent.- Colin Maillard

Paul Smith Suit Question
PS Paul Smith is not "shite", unless you don't go 100% pure - and good - bespoke (which I hardly doubt, no offense). Most people consider it like that just because there is more (namely) "luxury" lines. I have a PS suit and it's great, the fabric quality is nice, the construction is well done...- Colin Maillard

This so-called "pinch test" is a crap urban tale which has no relevance whatsoever. As most of all "homemade" checks one may make basing on forums advices and bloggers' tutorials. REISS Personal Tailoring
My tailor said that the quality of the Reiss suit I brought him for alterations (it was a wool-mohair "Collins" model) was excellent, he was really impressed by the cloth - not by the cut though. He said a cloth like that would cost quite much (if you purchase some meters for a bespoke suit I mean).- Colin Maillard

Re-vamping my wardrobe on a tiny budget
My advice is to stay away from Topman, Asos and brands like these. They sell poly-crap suits at unexpicable prices. I would suggest you to buy second-hand/outlet suits on eBay or outlet sites, even a size bigger, than have them tailored. All the suits I own (except a Tyrwhitt) are eBay...- Colin Maillard

Where does TM Lewin stand quality wise?
I think that TM Lewin shirts easily compare to most of upper-level shirts. If they did some mock "rebranding" for fun with some better brands I believe 99% of people wouldn't notice the difference (well, to be honest I think that for many other brands and products...). The alteration cost thread
$120-130 to have a suit entirely altered, this including: - taking in jacket shoulders & chest/waist - shortening sleeves - shortening jacket length - shortening trousers & adding cuffs - taking in trousers (the whole leg & waist) And, approximately $20/30 to have a single pair of trousers...- Colin Maillard

How many suits do you own?
I own five or six and honestly don't feel the need of having more for the moment. They're all made by Aquascutum/Reiss/Tm Lewin/Tyrwhitt, all quite heavily altered by my tailor (as all my trousers and most of my shirts are! Sad world for skinny guys).- Colin Maillard

Charles Tyrwhitt Reviews and Fitting
Personally I find TM Lewin shirts miles away better in terms of material and construction comparing to Tyrwhitt.. But on the other side, Tyrwhitt suits are stunning.- Colin Maillard

Florence shops on a budget??
Italian prices are awfully high, I am afraid you won't find anything decent with that price budget. (I am Italian, living in Milan, and I purchase 100% of my shoes and 90% of my clothes online... what you find here in shops is either horrible, or overpriced).- Colin Maillard
