Is this crease a defect (AE Strands Walnut)? These are new and my others in same last don't have this

These are brand new. I wore them around the carpet and that's it. I couldn't have done this walking right? It's weird since my other ones (same last and size) don't have it. They said it'd be 5 weeks for them to evaluate. That sounds ridiculous. I'm tempted to just buy another pair and return...

Is this crease a defect (AE Strands Walnut)? These are new and my others in same last don't have this

The inside of the arch on one shoe has a pretty heavy crease. I have fifth avenue and park avenue in same size and no issue. The outside edge in the same spot also has a bit more of a crease than expected. Heck, my other shoe does too but part of my wonders if it's that extra heel leather...

AE Park Avenue in Black - what is the "appropriate" formality to pair with them?

The black PAs still good with jacket and tie? I don't wear suits too often so will mostly wear it like that. And hoping to rotate between each pretty evenly. Willing to wait to buy... when are sales generally?

AE Park Avenue in Black - what is the "appropriate" formality to pair with them?

I'm looking to get some AE and thought black PAs were a good choice. My others were going to be Merlot fifth avenue and bourbon strands. I like the 3 color choices and that each is a different style. However, I want to make sure the PAs aren't too formal. I do always wear a jacket and a tie but...

    "Tall" Collar and Short Neck?

I am not sure what to do. So I am a short guy... only 5'4". I have a short neck (not just because I'm short but just short proportionally too). I have some custom shirts that I've enjoyed for years and the collar height I suppose was always a bit on the high side. I never paid attention to the...

    Steam Iron Purchase - Help!

Voltage here is 110 or 120.

    Steam Iron Purchase - Help!

Bieffe and Michelini suffer same voltage issue. I don't get why Europe has so many quality ironing options but not the US?

    Steam Iron Purchase - Help!

The Battistella look like they are 220V and will not work in the US (at least not with my electrical setup). I'll look into Bieffe and Michelini though. Thanks!

    Steam Iron Purchase - Help!

It's mostly that I would rather take care of something well and have it last decades then have something sputter water or go up in smoke after months or a few years at best. The Rowenta and Reliable stuff I see are plagued with reviews about leaking, burning clothes, going up in smoke, horrible...

    Steam Iron Purchase - Help!

I can't settle on a steam iron or steam generator to get. I'd pay $300-400 if it was something I could rely upon. However, the reviews just aren't there for anything they sell in the US. You have Rowenta but every review I read seems to say these are not reliable anymore. Even the ones made in...

Charcoal socks are too "blue" for charcoal pants?

I struggle with socks. I have small feet and the only company that really fits well has been Viccel. Reasonably priced too. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what to do with their charcoal grey socks with certain pants. For instance, I have some charcoal/black plaid wool pants (it's subtle, looks...

Where should the NARROW end of the rest in relation to wide end?

I've always felt that my ties were too long as the narrow end rests almost perfectly in line with the wide end. I really only prefer "nicky" (similar to Pratt) knot so that won't change but I can't do a four-in-hand even if I wanted to. The issue I have with them being the same length is that...

Duffel/Weekend Bag: Pockets or No/Less Pockets

I'm looking to get a Duffel Bag and I'm considering two options from Frost River: 1. With Pockets Option: Laurentian (2,400 cu in / 40L -> split between the main and side pockets) https://www.frostriver.com/shop/laurentian-luggage-2/ (carry-on size is smallest) 2. Without (Well, Less) Pockets...

    J.Crew Bowery Slim Pants (29w) - Cotton (3) and Wool (2)

As I believe these Bowery Slim fit the same as Urban Slim (I will check these measurements myself to be sure). I found the following: http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii72/albertbolt/urbanslimfit19488.png Hip: 39.75" Thigh: 24" Hope that helps and I will double check to ensure accuracy.

    J.Crew Bowery Slim Pants (29w) - Cotton (3) and Wool (2)

I will make some measurements when I go home, but also going to look for some measurements from Jcrew since those will likely be more accurate than me trying to measure them. Also, they do all have the same measurements.

What companies sell jackets with narrow shoulders and roomy chests?

Any Italian brands that can be had in the $200-$300 range? I don't mean retail with that, more so discounted or second hand. But I definitely don't have budget to spend anywhere over $500. Especially since for above that I'd like go with MTM.

What companies sell jackets with narrow shoulders and roomy chests?

Well, although that's way out of my price range, it did answer my question... so thank you. It does make me happy knowing the sizing at least exists OTR... it makes me feel better about myself I don't have freakishly out of proportion chest/shoulders.

What companies sell jackets with narrow shoulders and roomy chests?

I can't seem to find any jackets with ~17" shoulders that fit my ~38" chest. Unfortunately, most size 38 jackets all have 18" shoulders. Even size 36 jackets are nearly that usually. I know MTM is a route I could (and perhaps should) go, but not looking to spend $500+ on sportscoats, blazers...

I have a jean...(The Ultimate Jean Thread For Beginners) - ask questions here.

Another question for you guys... So, I want to take care of some wear on my jeans before it tears into a hole. Is this something easy enough to do on my own with needle/thread? Or should I bring it to someone. I just want to reinforce some stitching (stacking at inner ankle has rubbed and will...
