Linen Safari Jacket
Very nice, especially as you wear them without the belt that is very dated imho. This style called « saharienne » here, was very popular when I was a kid in the 70s. Don’t own one but wear jungle jackets, that are more casual.- Clouseau

Super nice. I loved Arnys, their shop was bought by Berluti that installed their main shop there. They had kept a very small Arnys corner inside, that I think was only for MtM stuff, I am not sure it still exists. Material, detailing, cut ?… Here’s an old one I have by Kenzo. Also have a couple by Hollington but they are in the cellar. Another brand that was great, but for sack jackets, « Ivy a la française » was JKeydge. Also have a couple.- Clouseau

Tbh don’t see any in my neighborhood. You have smarter versions though, often in cord, more the kind the painters (not house painter) wore. I have a couple. BTW Hollington is very typical intellectual parisian, they used to have those kind of garments, probably still have...- Clouseau

Yep blue, we called them bleu de travail. Not many chances you’ll see any French (even less real parisiens) wearing one nowadays, like berets. You can often see me with a baguette 🥖 though if you want to take a picture.- Clouseau

Buying classic fit Harrington jacket in 2024
Yes I wanted to say that Grenfell Harringtons are roomier. @Man-of-Mystery got a contemporary one, and also a vintage Baracuta with a classic fit, maybe he could compare.
