    Watchable, but did not make a lot of sense even for a Bond movie. Tropical tux and Lea Seydoux were possibly best things about this movie. Not great not terrible.

    It's a great book, The Island of Doctor Moreau is pretty much in this vein. Both much better than corresponding attempts to put these stories to screen.

    Re-watching Space Above and Beyond 95-96' , the wife likes it a lot(surprisingly as special effects didn't age good), but talking about shameful cancels one could throw that in.. one the plus side, it didn't have time to get bad

    Movie about security forces and cops making transition from commie times to 90s broke down and in transition Poland, mixed some very clear influence of US crime/action movies, pretty cool.

    They don't make em like this anymore. One of the very favorites. But then again it's based on Tennessee Williams play and it has Richard Burton and Ava Gardner so it couldn't go very wrong.

    Likely I could spare half a day near all these places, as the route would go from Joshua Tree north along the mountains and then north of SF near Napa and then south to LA or San Diego. Good to hear Paso is value, as forum here suggested Austin Hope once and now its one of family favourites...
