    Carry on luggage, bespoke

I have been looking around for a leather suitcase in the right size to use as carry on and weekend bag. As I could not find any I liked (or could afford) I just made one myself. Took some while as I have never worked with leather before. I hope you like the look! /M

    Tuxedo Shoe Options

I have not seen any black suede wholecuts, but I was just speculating for some options. I would say that for a wedding there is no need for some extra fancy shoes as the focus will not be on the shoes! this is the closest I can come up with for the moment...

    Tuxedo Shoe Options

No brogue. A pair of well polished black wholecut, as good as a pair black patent plain captoe if you ask me. To make something extra chose a pair of black suede wholecuts. Maybe hard to find though.

**The Official Shoe Care Thread: Tutorials, Photos, etc.**

Sorry, but we consumers have no right to get a MSDS for consumer products made for for retail. Only distributors may have that right. Therefore Valmour do not need to publish their MSDS for public access. From Valmours homepage: "Non greasy cream based on beeswax enriched with mink oil and...

Can these pink shoes be dyed to oxblood?

I can say that all corrected leather can not be stripped! I have a pair of black Herrings that I can not take away a horribly coating. I have tried acetone , terpentine, lacquer thinner and almost every solvent I could find in the chemistry laboratory at work. (I worked as an associate professor...

**The Official Shoe Care Thread: Tutorials, Photos, etc.**

Why should a oil replenish the leather if added to the surface and not the water? Especially if you have striped your shoe from wax and oils with renomat? Renovateur is a water based product, it is an emulsion of oil and water! Therefore it will refinish the water as well as the oils in the...

Can these pink shoes be dyed to oxblood?

Instead of trashing the pink look... If they are very cheap I suspect that the leather is of "less" quality, "painted" or "corrected" with a "plastic" finish that probably is impossibly to get rid of. But if the leather is not "corrected" I do not see any problem to clean/strip them with...

The Ultimate Vass (Footwear) Thread (Pictures, reviews, sizing, etc...)

Is it? I think the stitching is uneven, it is not spaced from the edge in a uniform way and only sewn in the toe part (is the rest glued?). You can also clearly see that the thread is not protected in a groove on the right shoe. Though I like the shoe!
