The Official Thrift / Discount Store Bragging Thread Part III (Sept 2018-)

Zooming in, those creases could very well be rolls. With that amount of wear on the soles, and nearly no creasing on the vamp makes me hopeful that it's shell.

On today's episode of Burning Through the Backlog These next 4 are Ivory by Incotex. I love the styling, made in Canada, just don't fit me. I've come across quite a few, but info on it is nonexistent. NWT but hemmed to 25.5"! Maybe a tailor's mistake that had to get tossed.

There has been a seismic shift in #menswear in the post pandemic era. I lament that all the clothes I wear now are plastic. Today's example, Nike Pegasus, Vuori pants, Kuhl shirt. A long way from wool suit and tie to work. Hell of a lot more comfortable, and I am not going back any time soon.

Recent and recent-ish stuff: In the 70s when I was a kid, the Champion store had a huge wall of iron-ons, you bought your tee and they would iron on the decal. They would also do lettering, so I'm guessing this meant something to someone in the 70s/80s Not a huge value item by any stretch, but...

Those for sure look shell. JFC, we have a GW boutique that did that, and I thought they'd come down eventually, but never did. I could make a separate thread with all the obnoxious prices. It was only 2 blocks from my office too.

If you take them to a Mykita dealer they are supposed to offer you nosepad and sidearm silicone replacements free of charge. - that's good to know! I'm picking mine up in a few days and I'll ask about it. Mine are about 6y old and look new, I've been really happy with how they've held up...
