I've fought this opinion for years on other watch forums. All of the luxury watch brands are foremost in business to make money and they do it based on obsolete technology which is sometimes at the peak of this technology. It depends on how you define "breathtakingly expensive". Speake-Marin, Journe, Hautlence, Moser some Richard Mille pieces, and others are expensive but not in the same class as MB and F, Dufour, Gruebel Forsey and others.- MSchott

Does BMW currently build a normally aspirated car that meets your criteria? I guess the 128i and the M3 are still sans turbo but there is no normally aspirated 3 series. Vest for charcoal suit?
I'm guessing your bride to be will be wearing a traditional wedding dress. If so, you should be in a black tux. Our wedding was small and not too formal and I wore a black tux, white vest and white bow tie. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos and black accessories with white tuxedo shirts.- MSchott

If you like the Rapid City but want a dressier version, the Kenilworth is a fine choice. I have it in Bourbon and it's a beautiful shoe. Bourbon is a great shade of brown with a nice patina. Not a 7751. You just can't move subdials. If it's a Valjoux 775X movement, it's the 7753 with an additional module for the triple date and moonphase.- MSchott

I agree that power reserve indicators can be more useful on an automatic watch than on a hand wound timepiece. Unless you have a HW watch with a long power reserve you will wind it daily as it is so the PR indicator is superfluous. On an automatic watch, especially one that is not worn daily...- MSchott
