Custom White's Boots ... Thoughts?
If anyone is wondering on lead times, I was quoted 7-8 months back in October and I was almost 7 months exactly. From a QC POV, these are really done well. Also, they are up for sale in the market place as my interests have moved away from White's besides the two pair I already have.- climbinglife

Warranty repair or not? Mine started under warranty and I was told they won't even try to see if a resole would fix it and just do a complete rebuild. I guess if you are out of warranty it could depend on what you are willing to spend and what they think when they get them back to inspect them.- climbinglife

No, that seemed counter productive to me considering that was the only error, albeit a big one, on an otherwise well constructed pair of boots. These will work for me but ultimately not what I ordered and was an error on the order. I was offered a brand new pair which I wasn't going to turn...- climbinglife

Got my boots back from being stretched. Still need to break them in as I only have 25 hours on them but its a little better. Behind my right pinky toe is still meh a little but it should work out as they break in more. They really did a good job on the cut 430 sole. Love the nailed look through...- climbinglife

So the White's email I got about the stitchdown offerings seem to suggest that as of 11/1 that some colors will either be stocked for immediate shipping or only have a 6-8 week lead time. Or did I read that wrong? Because both of those times seem better than 7-8 months, if my math is correct...- climbinglife
