The Official Drakes knock-off thread - look-alikes and the producers behind Drakes

Thanks! I have caught and released chore jackets from the French makers as I found sizing a struggle. I hear ya on the compromise. There's a lot of instances where their items are white labelled so I thought I'd check. Ultimately, I might just need to save my pennies for a used Drake's!

The Official Drakes knock-off thread - look-alikes and the producers behind Drakes

Has anyone had success in identifying the maker of the Drake's Chore Coats? I'm having trouble finding a similar styling and unfortunately the pricing on the Drake's makes it unobtainum for me. Especially struggling to find something similar in length which seems to help move a chore coat from...

Noticed a new Brunello Cuccinelli boutique at Yorkdale that might be of interest to some. Right next to Raffi Jewelers on the west side of the mall.

I'm a bit confused by the Boxing Day sale email. Perhaps I'm interpreting this wrong but would "Up to 25% SITEWIDE" not imply everything is on sale? There's so many exclusions that for the first time in years I can't bring myself to pull the trigger on a Boxing Day wardrobe refresh.

Pleasantly surprised to see a mainline Ralph Lauren store at Yorkdale. Prices are up there but impressed to see a broad selection of RLPL.

I used Ben back in the day (the flip a cuff to show off the selvedge days) and he did an impressive job. To my knowledge he stopping doing alterations a while back. I've used Frank the Denim Doctor multiple times and he's done excellent work on blowouts and alternations on heavy selvedge denim.

Unfortunately, your pooched. The buyer should have marked them as a return. You can pay the duties and use the eBay return documentation to request a refund from CBSA. It'll take a while to get your money but you eventually will.

I was at Sherway on Friday and it was pretty slim pickings. Mostly their "value" branded clothing in odd colors and sizes. A few Reigning Champ robes still at $180+ stood out but it seemeded like they shipped out most of the good stuff.

I'm mistified that the pandemic didn't drive Ivor towards developing an online presence. I say this out of frustration more than anything..I've shopped with him in the past but live outside of the GTA now. I just purchased a pair of C&J and totally forgot he was down there in the PATH.

I found both the slim and contemp to run smaller. I speculate they pre-washed these to handle the shrink issues from previous iterations and ended up with smaller than expected shirts.

Purchased the Light Wash Chambray Overall a nice fabric but these will be going back for 2 reasons: Wildly inconsistent sizing when compared to my other sport shirts (ordered a slim and contemporary in my regular size) Very uneven wash. The stock pic shows a homogenous blue, but the shirts I...

Thanks for posting. Was about to make the same purchase and this saved me the headache of a return. They've got to get the sizing sorted. As long as this is an issue the new return fees will prevent me from diving in on purchases.

Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)?

If you know your Alden sizing I highly recommend setting an eBay alert and waiting it out. Non D width sizing often goes for a steal
