Shirts for broad shoulders and narrow waist?

Rookie question here: I can't find a business casual shirt that fits me well. I'm on a small budget, and I typically wear casual J Crew or Banana Republic shirts to work with chinos or corduroys. I'm 5'11, 175 lbs and have a 32 waist, so I'm relatively slim, but my shoulders are really wide. If...

Is the SS Napoli in plain navy a good budget-conscious suit for a wedding, or are there better options? I have a giant head and wide shoulders, FWIW. Do you think the wider lapels on that suit would look better than other suits with more narrow lapels?

Best budget-conscious navy suit for a wedding (and then once a blue moon thereafter) - SS Napoli?

I should mention: I have a giant head and extremely wide shoulders. Should I look for a suit with wider lapels? And should I get one that is notched, to give it a bit more versatility? It's not a real formal wedding. Sorry for the noob questions.

Best budget-conscious navy suit for a wedding (and then once a blue moon thereafter) - SS Napoli?

Or would I be better off going with something from JCrew or BR? I don't live in a city with SS, if that makes any difference. Willing to just order, though, if that's really my best option.

Allen Edmonds Appreciation Thread 2016 - News, Pictures, Sizing, Accessories, Clothing, etc

I need some help with sizing for the new Macneils. I wear a 10.5D in the Strands, Mcallisters, and Cronmoks (65 last) and they all fit perfectly. I heard the Macneil ran wide so I ordered a 10.5C. Way too tight. Ordered the 10. Ordered the 10.5D and they're still too tight - and possibly too...

    The Architecture Thread

Kuala Lumpur is one of the hottest, muggiest cities I've ever visited. With my Anglo genes, I'd likely die of a skin rash within a week of living in an open air mansion like that. No thanks.

What's the story on European mattresses?

I suffered a thoracic nerve injury in a skydiving incident (T8-T9 vertebrae) and I was wheelchair bound until last May, when you guessed it: I took a European vacation. The mattresses in Florence and Rome were unbelievable, and I gained full sensation and control of my lower body after just...

    The Home Ownership Thread

Right, it's just a small step up from the grass to the deck. I am, however, going to have to put a few railings in near the porch, but nothing significant. That's my project for next weekend, along with hard-wiring my string lights to an outdoor dimmer switch.

Thanks. I'd be careful with your plan, though. We tried to do the same thing with our deck, sanding down using a floor/drum sander, grinding the paint off between boards using an angle grinder, and patching in boards that needed to go. Took forever and was quite expensive. In the end it didn't...

Finally finished rehabbing my deck last night, finishing up the staining at 1 am. Went from this: To this: Just say NO! To deckover paint and excess railings.

Yeah, I had attic access. Without it I'm sure it's quite a bit trickier.

The LEDs I got, Philips Warm Glow, dim way down. I think it's 3% at the minimum. They're also designed to dim with incandescent-like hues, which they do a pretty accurate job of. They're not perfect but I'd recommend them over incandescent bulbs any day.

    The Home Ownership Thread

Did a DIY light upgrade for my girlfriend's house. Replaced a builder-grade fan light with six recessed LEDs on a dimmer. Have since done her bedroom as well, along with replacing a few other fixtures. Electrical isn't too difficult to tackle. For less than $400 we went from this (paper...

    Mr. Porter

Do you have any experience ordering from marital aid.com? I am very interested in one of their products but I can't seem to find any reviews on their express/overnight shipping reliability.
