I have a question to ask. Anyone who has had any experience with the Utah leather shoes or boots for a while now please can they let me know if this leather is as resilient as the grained country calf or any of the other leathers EG use on their shoes or boots? The reason I ask is because...

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

I have really yet to see a bad Galway boot no matter what the leather or combination may be! My favourite Galway boot is the dark oak on the 82 last but sadly I cannot wear the 82 last because of the shape of my feet. The 72 last fits my foot the best.

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

I will have a look at the reviews later but it would be the AP for me anytime over the Rolex if I were to choose from the two watches. I prefer the AP with a strap but if you like bracelets then that is fine. For me the difference is like it would be between a Mercedes or Aston Martin...

    Poor man's watch thread

Due to the way the lugs are set on the Shinola trust me the watch sits very comfortably on the wrist, yes depending on the size of your wrist the 47 may be too big but they also offer the same watch in a 41mm size and even a 38mm. I have the 47mm and the watches sit very comfortably on...

    Poor man's watch thread

I agree that the watch may not even be worth a value of 2 pounds but the problem is that I have owned and worn watches worth with a value of over fifty thousand dollars that do not look and feel that good! These are my first quartz watches ever and sadly I have to say they keep time much...

Yesterday afternoon, I stopped into a menswear boutique in Brooklyn that is having a going-out-of-business sale, and that exact watch was 50% off, or $300. I'm looking for a watch with a black face and a tan or brown strap, and this certainly fits the bill, but I had been looking for an...
