Not everyone’s cup of tea, but I like it because it is different. Triple sole hunter green/black.

I know it is not apple to apple, but looking at percentage for a CROCKETT & JONES CAVENDISH BURGUNDY CORDOVAN LOAFER: 2021: UK £670 2024: UK £790 15% increase for Crockett and Jones..... I mean..... Math don't lie.

Hahaha.... Viberg turned off the comment feature so that you cannot cry about their price increase..... Nice move.

Recently purchased this new color. Seems it will develop some nice patina overtime. I also like the dark brown interior lining.

Just curious. Did JM Weston open a new factory in Portugal?

    JM Weston appreciation thread

The Golf shoe I got from Nordstrom didn't come with shoe bags. I was surprised. I think JM Weston should think about other environmental initiatives, eg. manufacturing processes, renewable energy...etc. than cheap out on the box and shoe bags. I think the entire presentation for a $1,200...

Marketing genius. The Tumbled process makes the black cordovan the same price as "rare" shell?? This is nutty.

And the leather is extremely unique, rare and limited.

I agree with you that double cordovan should be cheaper than shell..... I know we all love Viberg and Horween. Some of you might have very good relationship with them, but my point is..... if the processes involved a group of Artisans painstakingly going through the finishing steps were...

This is what I read on the website, Horween "skipped" the labor-intensive process of polishing and give you a piece of untreated leather....... Don't understand why it is extremely limited and unique. I think Ashland leather has a good video about Cordovan finishing. Man it's...

Yes it is funky..... definitely not for everyone, but I love it.

These are the other design BB black fleece did over the years. The wingtip labelled C&J was a resole and the Alden & BBBB Collab is in Cordovan. All of them have a little leather pull at the back.

No problem! These are discontinued items from a long time ago.... Not many people are owning these shoes, but the design is cool.

I do have experience with multiple BB Black Fleece C&J shoes. They are labelled as US size and the calf is definitely TTS, a little on the narrower side compare to Coniston 325 last. I think the Black Fleece is running D width and my other C&Js are all E width....

Who's going to resole the sneaker from Viberg? The sole is falling apart after a year. It looks like Baker's Boot won't repair sneakers?
