Well, people whine about Grey Goose being a whole lot of marketing... big deal..... it's like $35. Smirnoff, which I firmly do believe (along with other brands like Stoli) is much more coarse, if not more "authentic" vodka.- PHV

Favourite vodka?
What's your favourite vodka? I haven't tried Chopin or Vox yet. I prefer GG and Belvedere because they complement mixed drinks quite well, and I find their presence sweet and not overpowering. K1 I despise... it has an unbelieveably dinstinct flavour that takes over whatever you are doing.- PHV

Beer
I hate beer. I hate it so much... Drink hard alcohol... Jack and coke is a very common drink... it isn't a "girly" drink at all. A lot of guys also drink vodka and cranberry juice. There are many ways out of drinking that vile brew.- PHV

This changes all the time, but if you want to talk rock song, almost nothing does it for like like The Who - Baba O'Reilly. That song live is like lightning in a bottle. Their version at Madison Square Gardens right before old thunderfingers died is incredible... still sends chills up my spine...- PHV

Pre-shave oil brand
Depending on skin type, something like from AoS is very good. Some others here have recommended some cheaper brands, but AoS is still a good bet. by the way, where in Ontario are you? I did my final english paper in high school on cancer ward...- PHV

Thanks guys, this is all very helpful. Unfortunately I no longer think of watches are just jewelry. Even though the difference between an automatic self-winding movement and Quartz is probably not that large horologically speaking, buying a "fused suit" somehow doesn't sit right with...- PHV

I realized that a while ago too, the fact that a quartz watch is a bit of a waste. But, I like the look a lot. I wish they offered it in their automatic version. They claim that some of their movements are made in house... or is it just ETA tweeking?- PHV

I really like the shape and look of this watch. I think it's very elegant and versatile, however the movement is crap. Obviously they pitch it is some high tech Quartz movement, but we all know it's not that great. I think this watch goes for $1700, but I'm not sure. I haven't see a watch...- PHV
