    Favourite vodka?

Why do both of you prefer Chopin? I also wonder, GG, Belvedere and Chopin all share remarkably similar packaging.... I wonder if they are at all connected.

    Batman Begins

It makes no sense... in the very first batman that I saw when I was like 12, the joker was present at the slaying of his parents, and said that rediculous little riddle about dancing with a devil. All there was in Batman Begins was some schizoid weirdo robbing his parents to pay for like $100 a...

    Favourite vodka?

Well, people whine about Grey Goose being a whole lot of marketing... big deal..... it's like $35. Smirnoff, which I firmly do believe (along with other brands like Stoli) is much more coarse, if not more "authentic" vodka.

    Favourite vodka?

What's your favourite vodka? I haven't tried Chopin or Vox yet. I prefer GG and Belvedere because they complement mixed drinks quite well, and I find their presence sweet and not overpowering. K1 I despise... it has an unbelieveably dinstinct flavour that takes over whatever you are doing.

    Beer

I hate beer. I hate it so much... Drink hard alcohol... Jack and coke is a very common drink... it isn't a "girly" drink at all. A lot of guys also drink vodka and cranberry juice. There are many ways out of drinking that vile brew.

    House of Cards

Been watching the British political thriller/drama House of Cards (well the whole triology actually). Everyone wears french cuffs, and their cuffs protrude at least 3/4 of an inch from their jacket sleeves. I rather like the look. Any insight into who made the clothes? Given the socio...

    Cars!

Positive it was a Farrari... The salesman pitched my dad on it, but my dad doesn't like to feel like he's climbing into bed when getting in his car... he opted for something less likely to kill him.

    Cars!

What do you know of a 4 door farrari? A long time ago when my dad was buying a car, there was one in the showroom. Blue if I remember correctly.

    Tiffany Watch

(TCN @ July 07 2005,10:29) I agree with what's been posted here regarding that being a high price for a quartz movement. Â Are there quartz movements that are better than others? Yes, but who cares. Â I would like to chime in that an in-house movement is not necessarily better than one procured...

And the greatest song ever is......

This changes all the time, but if you want to talk rock song, almost nothing does it for like like The Who - Baba O'Reilly. That song live is like lightning in a bottle. Their version at Madison Square Gardens right before old thunderfingers died is incredible... still sends chills up my spine...

    Pre-shave oil brand

Depending on skin type, something like from AoS is very good. Some others here have recommended some cheaper brands, but AoS is still a good bet. by the way, where in Ontario are you? I did my final english paper in high school on cancer ward...

    Tiffany Watch

Thanks guys, this is all very helpful. Unfortunately I no longer think of watches are just jewelry. Even though the difference between an automatic self-winding movement and Quartz is probably not that large horologically speaking, buying a "fused suit" somehow doesn't sit right with...

    Tiffany Watch

I realized that a while ago too, the fact that a quartz watch is a bit of a waste. But, I like the look a lot. I wish they offered it in their automatic version. They claim that some of their movements are made in house... or is it just ETA tweeking?

    Tiffany Watch

I really like the shape and look of this watch. I think it's very elegant and versatile, however the movement is crap. Obviously they pitch it is some high tech Quartz movement, but we all know it's not that great. I think this watch goes for $1700, but I'm not sure. I haven't see a watch...
