To share my personal experience, I'm a 8.5E US and 7.5 wide UK in both the Rain and Forest lasts. The regular width doesn't work for me on either last. The Carmina wide width fits very similarly to a typical E in the more traditionally fitting Alden (Aberdeen, Plaza, and Grant) or Allen...- calidist

Yup -- 973 perf captoe boot on the Rain last. Just got the same boot in Cognac shell and immediately need another :) It is a beautiful and comfortable boot.- calidist

I'd be in for 973s in dark brown pebble grain. I just got the cognac cordovan 973s, so dark brown calf wouldn't do me any good.- calidist
