    Tailors in/near Florence

Hey, so I wanted to try Seminara for a nice 3-btn jacket now, but I don't really know how to contact them. Their Instagram account is active, but doesn't reply to DMs. The website is down and the info@ mail address doesn't reply either. Anyone know if they're in business as usual? I don't...

    whnay.'s good taste thread

I disagree here. One can be impeccably dressed in a suit and tie and still look ridiculously out of place. Just looking great in your own mind, reassured by this forum might not work in every situation. Someone here once said "do you really want to be the one guy who always shows up in a suit to...

The best prequel series would probably be about Robert's Rebellion or the Age of Heroes.

Nice cloth and overall fit, but the shoulders differ rather noticeably.

I think he has settled in Lucca, though. Anyone know for sure? edit: "proof":

That jacket looks excellent! If other RTW stuff fits you as well, might as well stick to that!

    True Detective - HBO

Hm, so this is turning out to be the same kind of perpetrator as in Season 1? A rich obscure pedophile family?

So, what is everybody's impression? I really like the characters and the setting. Curious to see how the story works out.

Isn't there a traveling thread? I was looking forward to a lot of cool posts on bespoke stuff.

Unfunded Liabilities: a/k/a The Cloth Thread

I haven‘t done anything yet, as I was looking for something made up from it before I order cloth worth 300€. Thank you anyway! May just order a length then. I would probably have one of the Fiorentines make it up as a nice classic 3btn jacket.

Did this come to fruition? Still very interested.

Can someone recommend a nice brown jacketing with a faint red or blue overcheck? Nothing too crazy. Found some cool ones on the HFW website. Anyone had no 320538 made up?

But wasn't she pregnant from Drogo? The weird witch/black magic stuff they tried only happened when the pregnancy became fragile, right?

I don't know, I went to his atelier in Florence. I'm in Europe, though, so that's probably not an option for Americans.

The post is a few days old, but I feel like I still need to respond to this. Corcos is a very small operation with two or three people doing all the work (at least when I worked with him). He also has a young family, so making 100 (or however many) suits a year may be enough work and revenue...

With the choice between Florence and Naples go with what you like better. The only thing to consider with a formal suit (as you stated and also by being navy) would be no cuffs on the trousers and no patch pockets on the jacket. The Fiorentini you put on your list prefer unflapped pockets, btw...
