Luigi Borrelli down, or out of business?

For months?! I doubt it; moreover, their online retailer shut down as well and now operates under a different name.. Everything Borrelli on sale up to 60% off. Just curious though... I have some of their shirts, nice but don't fit quite well for a regular build, too tight on the cuffs.

Luigi Borrelli down, or out of business?

Anyone know? I think it's out, no activity, site under maintenance, online store still online but stripped of everything. Sent an email asking for clarification, got no response. Thanks.

Not sure; I bought their products (buy local, eh?), they fit alright but the brand did not grow on me yet. I like their contemporary fit though.

Where I live they make great fall shoes with all the rain and eventual slush; besides, they look great, not plastic-y at all. The Churches, like these? Rock Your Socks- show your sock, shoe & pant combos Grafton, not Shannon in calf + rubber. I find the Vibram sole more comfortable though

LANARK III in black Cavalry calf, from the Black Editions collection; last 378, lots of room in the toe box. Not very fond of the corrected grain Cavalry Calf but I said to myself, why not? Had another pair of boots in corrected grain that I bought back in 1992; held up very well, no cracking...

I would say it is upto you how dark you want your shoes... this being said, up to you to determine how many coats are too much. Another way would be to strip the finishing and paint them in a darker shade. I can see some streaks on the left shoe's vamp, what did you do?

As per the manufacturer, the leather is: Black 7 oz. full grain printed oil tan cowhide. The printing is gone, of course. What I can't get is why the water penetrated an oil tanned leather in that little time? I also treated it with Oberndorf's Leather Oil a couple months ago... I will...
