Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

I swap out to Mad Dog for most of my boot laces. Try 3mm for a more refined dressy look. And I'd love to buy a pair of Blkbrd one day.

You have to double knot so they'll stay. I almost exclusively use paracord laces. They never fray or break.

Update about buying shell cordovan belts. Brooks Brothers has a decent sale, so bought a #8. Found 2 more on ebay (Allen Edmonds and Brooks Brothers), also in #8/burgundy. The weak Canadian dollar cost me more. First world problems. Then ordered a black and brown from Rego Clothiers. They are...

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

Boot season is official as the snow arrives. My first pair of Chippewa, and still one of my favourites for the fit, comfort, look, and price point. These are one of the last American made pairs. Dan Frappier rebuilt with a new cork filler, leather midsoles, and a stacked heel block and sole...

Thanks! Meermine price points are so attractive. But sadly they're sold out. Yes, I did know that shell belts are 3+ pieces put together. Makes sense for anyone who understands the nature of the hides. I ordered one from Brooks Brothers in burgundy as they're on sale. Rego Clothiers in...

I know these aren't from UK, but try looking for paracord laces. They last forever and offer many cool colours. I swapped out most boot laces for paracord.

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

I haven't bought any AEs in a while. Mostly adding boots to my collection, especially shell pairs from Alden as their Trubalance and Barrie lasts work for my wide feet. I generally wear 8.5ee or 8.5eee for most AE lasts. The 65 last I find challenging. I found a pair of Fifth Street boots in...

Spoke to some high school students so wore my vintage Canadian made Ritchie shoes. The snow is arriving today so I'll be in boots for a while.
