The reason for the wash/dry before wearing is to get the extra lint out of the socks. I know that's counter-intuitive with socks, but since these are super low cut socks, it helps eliminate any chance of slippage. The socks will shrink a little, but the extra spandex material in them helps it...- Ninja Sox

They're going to ship from my overseas manufacturer in a week or so. Depending on US customs and the July 4th holiday, I suspect they'll be here by mid July. I know, it's a little later than I initially quoted but they'll be here soon. I'll extend the usual discount to the SF members.- Ninja Sox

Thanks for posting the pic! The mediums should accommodate your shoe size pretty well. We include the extra spandex so that the socks feel snug when worn. We stand by the quality of our products, so if you find that they are getting torn up outside of the normal wear and tear, just let us...- Ninja Sox

Thanks for posting the picture! A lot of people love to see them in action. We're working on getting some new and improved Ninja Sox soon. One of the designs is an ultra low cut so that you can wear them with Tom's or any loafers/boat shoes without showing anything...not even the smallest...- Ninja Sox
