    Sure. I live where there is always wind or at least a breeze and not too humid. But for a humid calm place I agree on linen.

    I love linen but the coolest garments I own is high twist open weave wool. Unlined of course.

    I have a few of each of these fabrics and both has held up well for me. I do prefer 12 oz because of the heft. The 9 oz is a bit flimsy to my taste. I know that Bruce Boyer loves the 9 oz and I agree that they are supersoft and almost like cash.
