FREE SHOES (sz. 12C but fit a smaller, D sized foot as well - I am 10.5D and wore them fine: 12.75" x 4 3/8")Thrift find from maybe 2-3 years ago that I never posted but am posting now as a Re-thrift to you because: 1. I love Nettleon shoes. This great American company was not more than an hour...

I have been quite lax in posting anything for quite some time but today we had a few that seemed fitting to get me started. :slayer: Brioni tie; tie is actually a more vibrant green and mauve instead of red....might have to wait for sunlight to list this one as the tungsten light does not like...

Thank you...that was a fantastic read. Now I want to either quit my day job and revive the brand or, at the very least, keep these boots in their unworn fashion as a constant reminder of the greatness of American ingenuity and manufacturing. Between these and the high quality Tuczek shoes...

I stopped a few places - some nice suits, a tie, an overcoat....the usual fare. One item really baffles me, however: NWT Willis & Geiger Leather Hiking Boots w/ Vibram Sole, Metal Eyelets, Thinsulate and other features When did they stop making these boots? Any ideas? I am headed to eBay...

I just had to pick up this Brioni.....I don't know what I will do with it but it was simply too fantastic to leave behind. :slayer: This is the most vintage-y vintage thrift i have ever thrifted.

I recently found a nice brown Jaeger suit that was clearly produced by Hickey Freeman.....that's really all that I can add to this conversation. :satisfied:

I would be curious to hear if this is, in fact, illegal. The VOAs near me have signs that state they reserve the right to not sell items that they beleive were mis-priced. Adam

An after work stop was rather successful but with your typical eBay fodder and little for myself save one suit. This A-2 Willis & Geiger jacket, however, was a first for me and at this stage a new first is always exciting. Coming to an online auction site near you....this thing is in absolutely...

These are definitely shell - 100% positive. They should shine up really nice - I have flipped 100's of Florsheims from that era and it never ceases to amaze me how well they can be restored. I like to use a *gasp* cheap drug store cordovan polish because it has lots of solvents in...

$3 I think. In a frame along with some other rare stuff such as the Batman poster you see underneath. Framed the Mcguiness and hung it in my sons room and will sell the 3 or 4 other items from the frame. They needed to get rid of them at a store that was closing and the Manager...
