“curb” lol. I live in 50s subdivision that was designed for pedestrian sacrifice (no curbs, no sidewalks) the first crushed pipe is almost out to the street. I think it’s illegal everywhere to dump stormwater into sanitary drains. overwhelms the treatment facilities.- Van Veen

Yeah it’s drainage. One of them is for drain tile (French drain) running at the footing of the foundation. The other is for the downspouts. Bad news if they back up all the way. that corrugated pipe is junk but it’s cheaper and easier to install.- Van Veen

I looked at his service records and noticed that he disembarked in Europe on May 8, 1945. imagine getting off the boat and seeing everyone partying because the war is over. Update on the dog: I drove through the neighborhood yesterday looking for posters and those “protected by invisible fence” signs. I found a house with one of those signs at the end of a cul-de-sac right near where we found the dog. Seemed like that had to be it, since it was a straight shot...- Van Veen

weird story... my wife ordered a special baby outfit for pictures with santa. it never showed up. tracking didn't show delivered. it was a whole ordeal, but she finally got a replacement sent. fast forward to yesterday... i see a package in a poly bag thrown on my lawn. mailman never does...- Van Veen

it's more getting rid of the branches that are extending over the roof. specifically i have an oak that is forked into 3 main stems, 2 of which are over the roof. arborist said they'd remove those 2.
