    Rubato

Welcome to the what us Canadians regularly see when items ship DDP. Items manufactured in EU are duty free in Canada with no limit and should be charged only 13% tax. These DDP companies ignore that and just blanket charge 30-40% and obviously pocket the balance. I've stopped buying from...

    The Ultimate Toronto Thread

I bought the ones on the far right at Costco for $150 about a year and a half ago. Nice glasses but quite an old model Went to the Heartland Harry Rosen outlet a month or two for the first time in years. It reminded me of Winners. Total waste of time

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

Looking for some advice. I just bought unlined suede Piccadilly’s on a rubber sole from Matches and they squeak with every step. Has anyone encountered this? Any solutions or should I email EG?

٭٭٭ No Man Walks Alone - Official Affiliate Thread ٭٭٭ (a.k.a. I shouldn't have slept on it)

Have there been changes to the site for non-US shoppers? Free shipping to Canada only if more than $695 spent? I also noticed Canadian dollars being used with some crazy conversion rate. For example, the Doppia AAgar being $475 CAD when the current exchange rate would put it at $387. Even if tax...

This would be helpful. Made in Europe equals no duties in Canada while made in China means an extra 30% in duty fees which means it’s not worth it. Would also be helpful to know the provenance as it influences whether I will buy a particular item. I know it doesn’t matter to all but matters to...

Hi Kevin, Can you clarify whether only the sport coats and suits were moved to the Asian production facility or whether all Cavour branded clothing (I.e. knitwear, outerwear, etc.) has been moved over? Thanks

Had the same issue when I ordered a mod 2 suit this year and was hit with 40% duty fees for what I assumed was made in Italy tailoring as had been the case for the previous iterations and as was advertised in this thread. Knowing this ahead of time, I would not have made the purchase, as the...

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

Looking for some advice. I have a relatively new pair of Dovers that have been worn sparingly, probably 20 times over the past few years. Both heels show cracking on both sides despite always using Edward green fitted trees, never wearing in inclement weather and conditioning here and there. Did...

Any hope for these Dovers? Not sure how the leather began cracking. Used Edward green trees always. Shoes worn once every couple of weeks in nice weather. Conditioned here and there.

With Fujito just dropping, should we be expecting the pre-orders to arrive soon as well?

I had this experience as well with the cashmere crewnecks (navy and green) I bought last year. Makes them pretty much unwearable.

@kevinsvindland How do the shawl collar cashmere cardigans compare to the Drake's wool ones in terms of weight/heft? They look substantially less hefty on the images. Is this generally the case?

Looks a lot darker in your pics than the website. I like this better in your pics. Is the website more representative or these pics?

Just took receipt of the Loro Piana Summer hopsack. Great fabric but I noticed faux buttonholes were added whereas my previous Mod 2 jackets did not have these. I typically have to lengthen the sleeves. Anyone know if taking out the faux buttonholes is possible or will it ruin the underlying fabric?

Any plans to bring back Crispaire suits? Any specifics on the hightwist suiting fabrics? What mill are they from? It would be great to include this type of information in the product descriptions.
