Tan is apparently darker, I had Gravity Pope compare them side by side and the guy said they were slightly darker and "richer", whereas the khaki were more "washed out".- AR_Six

The brown suede ones did, just grabbed those for 147$... Along with some sweats and a shirt. Annoyingly I just last night bought some tan westpoint chinos for 118 and now they're 69... Just bought them again and hoping they'll be reasonable and cancel the first order, which has no doubt not...- AR_Six

To add to that, I take a 45 in CP achilles, 44 is basically unwearable (if anyone wants a pair of patent navy 44's, I have some just sitting around). However, I can wear either 44 or 45 in W+H lows, and if I have a choice between the two will take the 44's. Never even tried on the hi's, slept...- AR_Six

6'2'' 180 when I bought it? It's a pretty true medium but long. Also stretchy. I keep meaning to take measurements. I believe the chest is about 20"-20.5", but like I say, these stretch a decent amount.- AR_Six

Shoe creasing problem!
The pencil thing does not do anything to alleviate the problem. As I said, apparently another member had the same thing happen and Alden said it was a defect. I'm waiting to hear something from them. The shoes fit just fine - snugger than a couple of my other Aldens, actually. I would be unable...- AR_Six

Thanks. This is good info. I'm going to see if I can get some info from the seller and then see what I can get BB or Alden to do about it. I won't be wearing them until the problem's resolved. You really don't think that's an abnormal creasing pattern? The toe cap shouldn't crease at all, afaik. Normally I'd think creasing too far forward is a sign of the wrong length shoe, but not so here. The shoe isn't creasing, it's like shell cordovan subduction. It's not folding; instead, one...- AR_Six

I purchased them from someone who purchased two pairs when BB was selling the shoes, but never wore his "backup" pair and eventually decided to part with them.
