    Never tried HP but I have negative associations with it since I see it almost exclusively in Duty Free shops in airports, making me think it's overpriced. Although admittedly this is probably a dumb reason not to like something, especially something I haven't tried.

    SF doom loop and all that... but there has to be more to this story. Prices have dropped but not that much, and $923/sqft for a luxury house in that neighborhood (and the surrounding ones) is like 25-40% below even the 90 day trailing average, let alone the 6-12 month one.

    Hook Fish is one of the only restaurants in SF I plan an entire outing around. Watching the sunset on Ocean Beach (on one of the <10 days a year it's not frigid) + Hook Fish burritos is the best.

    GGP is pretty big so not sure what neighborhood you are thinking, but Pearl 1601, Outerlands, Hook Fish (casual fish place with amazing burritos), and Beit Rima are all great and near various parts of GGP.

    It's also weirdly not very big and not particularly well setup for a weekend house. No pool, no lawn, on a giant hill so not great for kids (fine for a main house but less for a weekend one). I think it's pretty cool (pretty awesome bathtub in the master bath) and know people who have houses...
