I actually regret getting the collar snaps. Looks fine in the photo but silly in practice. I just leave it unsnapped.

I've owned Z150, Competition Weight and X150. Z150 easily hands down. Starts off meh.. but man. Really shines after some wear. (Excuse the lack of shiny hardware) That said, last time I checked the factory that provided Z150 leather to Vanson burned down and they switched suppliers, else I'd...

Why do RMC suppliers have a breakout section for them? Is it some contractual requirement when being a stockist for RMC? Like this: https://standardandstrange.com/ https://shoplostfound.com/ Just curious

Discussions about the fashion industry thread

Pretty sure there's a sizable intersection between people who own Canali/Zegna suits and people who own LP/Cucinelli knitwear (which is their calling card I believe). Both firms also went HAM on marketing, really pushing the heritage/quality angle. I remember extensive articles detailing how LP...

I honestly think you're between sizes. Too big for 38, too small for 40, if I recall. You could probably fly to Paris and get a nice custom made Chapal jacket and still "save" money compared to what you're doing. I went thru dozens of leather jackets myself before I realized I was content.

To be honest, I don’t think you’d see tears like that with a Schott or Vanson and those are like a fraction of the price. Your bones would break before the jacket would, if you sized down too much.

My brother messaged me urgently this morning about Understatesman and tennis balls but I did not appreciate the gravitas of the situation until I checked the thread. He also thinks you need to size up btw. edit: or wear a softer leather that drapes well like lamb
