    Member Kickstarter and other fundraisers.

On second thought, after reading AFYG's review, I think I'm sold. This looks like a very interesting product offered: I look forward to hearing of your success.

$130 (or even the discount price of $99) is a lot to ask for an unproven shirt. For that much or less, I can already get a shirt that I know is quality from Huge & Crye, Kent Wang, Brooks Brothers, etc etc etc. What makes you product inherently superior to the numerous other shirts at this price...

    Brooks Brothers detachable collar wedding

I'd recommend http://www.amazondrygoods.com/ for cheap but correct detachable collars, especially the celluloid one.

    Brooks Brothers' Gatsby Collection

Just got my Gatsby OCBD in store today, she's an unlined beaut. I personally find the armholes a bit low, but I'm sure I'll live. Checked out some of the other stuff: all the other shirts they had in store were non-iron (ugh) and insanely expensive. The jackets had some pretty massive...

How do you roll? Untangle the Great Buttondown Collar Conspiracy!

Has anyone seen/ tried on the Brooks Brothers Gatsby OCBD yet? Rumor has it that it's got an unlined(!) collar very similar to their golden era shirts. If this is indeed the case, might be our best bet for a great collar roll at a reasonable price. :slayer:

    Shawl Collars on Tailcoats?

I was looking at the US Air Force uniform requirements, and they mention that their tail coats are required(!!!) to have shawl collars. Is there any precedent to this, or are these people just insane?

The Tailors' Thread: Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions

Just got a shirt from Kent Wang: can I get a fit check? Specifically, how are those sleeves looking? With the cuff undone Feedback is greatly appreciated.

button bottom only on a two button suit?

In my opinion, this would only be accepetable if you specifically get a bespoke a jacket that's supposed to be buttoned like that. Otherwise, lolno.

    Custom 1910s Suiting?

Thinking of going full cray-cray and getting a custom suit with late 10s/ early 20s styling. Ideally, it would have a cut similar to the ones seen here: ^fashion illustration from 1919 ^a picture of my fraternity from 1919 Required: Peak lapels done in a style appropriate to the period Vest...

Help with a tuxedo shirt collar

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a spread point collar the default for tuxedo shirts? And, yes, a black silk bowtie would go best with the lapels of indochino's tuxedos.

    Indochino suits?

Seconded. Those shoulders look really strange. Also, I don't think a slim lapel works with your figure at all.

The State of Black Tie: Your Observations

My two vintage dinner jackets (20s & 30s) both have link fronts. Seems to have been more common in the past.

Thank you for the education SF! tuxedo pictures from my wedding

Sounds like a deal breaker to me. ;) No, but seriously, congratulations to you two. You both look great.

Buttonless Sleeves on a Suit: interesting statement or horrendous mistake?

So I was thinking: buttons on the cuffs of a suit are (for the most part) nonfunctional, and even surgeon's cuffs don't fulfill any real role, other than showing off made to measure or bespoke cred. What if someone ordered a jacket made with absolutely zero buttons on the cuff? Could that be...

    Old collegiate films?

I'm in the mood for a college flick either recorded or set back in the days where boys wore tweed to class and tortoiseshell glasses were the ****. Anyone know of any? Bonus points for Ivy League fashion.
