Anyone heard of the maker Viyella?
I can't say I've had any experience with the shirts, but I have one of the company's robes, from Ben Silver. It's quite warm while also being light and breathable. However, the caveat is that it's really rather itchy.- The Dandy

Shoes for tuxedo
While you could certainly get away with a pair of highly polished cap-toes at most black tie events, I wouldn't recommend it. Patent is the only appropriate way to go. I'm in the minority, but my own acquaintances do not leave their single breasted jackets buttoned constantly. Most, in fact, rarely button them at all. What to wear with my new seersuckers?
With blue seersucker pants, I'll usually wear either a white or pink polo shirt or a button-down. I'll almost always wear white bucks with seersucker as well. I like to avoid combining anything navy with blue seersucker as I find the blues clash in terrible ways, at least in my eyes.- The Dandy

Socks with seersucker
I would suggest blue or grey socks. In my opinion, light colored socks with seersucker pants is an atrocity, but I am a fairly firm proponent of darker hosiery. I usually like to pair seersucker with white bucks though.- The Dandy
