I have a pair of espadrilles bought on ropeysoles.com and they're fine. Slightly more expensive than 12$ but they're good quality and I'm pretty satisfied, they're less dressy than the ones I've seen in this thread tho, they are "basic" espadrilles. I'm hesitant on investing in expensive...- Slh

have you got suggestions for a pair of easy pants? They would be paired with espadrillas, sneakers and tshirts or casual shirts and suede penny loafers but also in winter/fall with some knitwear and chukkas ( not sure) or loafers. This is what I have in mind but I'm open to other suggestions...- Slh

It's more of the fact that the elasticated waistband resembles the one of sweatpants or gym shorts so not sure. I see your point, they're probably fine.- Slh

thoughts about wearing these easy pants with a tucked linen/ocbd/chambray shirt ( and probably brown suede penny loafers)? They're fine with a tee and sneakers/espadrilles or probably untucked shirt, but with shirts tucked in? Not sure because of the elasticated waistband...- Slh

I just bought these linen pants for the upcoming summer and they look very nice to me. I thought about wearing a linen or Oxford cloth shirt on top, these linen pants and espadrilles. I think a bd collar is perfect for such a casual shirt. Fine in shirt sleeves and perfect under a summer jacket like a hopsack. Why are you against a bd collar for linen? Is there any reason or you just don't care for the look.- Slh

Just received the denim linen pants, in the inside tag I read they can be washed in the washing machine. Washing them at 30°C on a gentle wash and then hanging them dry would be fine? Are they expected to shrink a little?- Slh
