    Jax Shironeri transitions outside, Julien Beluga optical, Shibusawa demo lenses, Jax Shironeri inside for comparison. Not sold on the Shibusawa yet, but I was happily surprised the hardware was silver and not gold as seems to pictured on JMM site.

    Went by JMM LA and was so tempted to pull the trigger on the gold Jeffs, but felt too much like novelty specs. Went with Rawlins Black Fade instead (Agar pictured here) -- my holy grail, once I remove the extra embellishments. We'll see when they get here.

    Maybe sacrilege but does anyone know if the embellishments on the end of the temple of the Rawlins (turquoise behind ear) can be plausibly removed without damage? Love the shape, but the bling on these is too much for my liking.

    Thanks for the feedback. These are the Beluga colorway, so black essentially, which I like and actually think the transparent inside temple is the perfect amount of understated "bling" for my taste.
