I'm pretty sure that the Tom James 'Prestige' label was made by Oxxford circa 2010. See the labels and handwork in the following example which I picked up last year (n/a).- philologos

Looks solid to me. I'm no expert in Tibetan art, but this looks similar to other portraits of Tibetan lamas. With the flood of Tibetan Thangka paintings for the tourist market, it can be difficult to assess the age and value of these things, but given that the subject matter is less common than...- philologos
