How would you condition/care for this case?

I'm a bit concerned that my grubby paws and daily commutes will mar it in short order. Did you Scotchguard that before laying it on the dirty street?

Overcoat - Green or Brown (Pics Incl.)?

+1 Do companies even make that size for Men? Never seen it, only in boy's shoes.

Overcoat - Green or Brown (Pics Incl.)?

So true. I'm pretty low-level so, happily enough, this works out well. Congratulations

How much did you squat today?

Hopefully this won't turn into too much of a chest thumping brofest, but just a fun way to discuss your progress on what is in many circles regarded as perhaps one of (if not the) most important lift. I'm about 2 months back into lifting (only had lifted about a year beforehand) after a 4 month...

Getting wrinkles out of leather gloves

It is a form of Patina. Learn to like it or buy new gloves each season. I go with the second option. Do you have any idea what the word, patina, means?

Getting wrinkles out of leather gloves

Sure, This is not my actual hand or glove and I don't have a camera with me, as I'm not home, but the leather is looking somewhat like that (googled). Palms should obviously get worn out more, but when the top also starts looking like a work glove, it doesn't look aesthetic any more. The...

    Brooks brothers

Was checking out the BB Spring 2011 preview on GQ and was pleasantly surprised with the shoes that were showcased. Including the following: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Love number 3. I don't see too many shoes in that color and its a freakiing longwing! Number 4 looks interesting. Black...

    Brooks brothers

Since Parsons brought up the topic of Brooks Brothers in the last post, it reminded me to post this, which I'd been meaning to do for a while. What is everyones take on the quality, price, and look of thier clothes? Recently I bought a pair of flat front wrinkle free chinos there for my...

What is your opinion of shirt darts?

Do they make the shirt look cheap/tacky? i've only seen them on an Express shirt and didn't really have an opinion of them. I'm having some put on a shirt today to help contour the cloth to my lower back instead of billowing. What do you think? They look stupid. They look like something Jerry...

    Shortening shirt sleeves

I know this has been asked before but there's just some things I need to get clarified. I just bought a shirt that will need between 1 and 2 inches taken off the sleeves. Should I get it shortened from the shoulder or the cuff? Also I have heard both that shirt sleeve shortening can be done by a...

    Sons of well dressed fathers?

My fathers style would be similar in look and fit to Rodney Dangerfield. But, everyone liked him for being genuine. Hey, I liked Rodney. I met him at his club years ago in Manhattan. He did wear those 1950's - mid 60's type suits but they were very nice although not too fashionable.

    The Official Wine Thread

It's not how long it's been sitting around but WHERE it's been. Got that now, sport? I would bet anything that the wine had that orange tint at the rim. An 8yo Burgundy of this price should still have a true Burgundy colour if stored properly. Stop buying at these discount places to save(waste)...

    Dry Cleaning Shrinkage??

So you buy your suit jackets 2-3 inches too large? Yes. My Burberry wool/alpaca sportscoat shrunk 2" in the chest after dry cleaning at Jeeves which is the best dry cleaner in the world.
