Current Quality of Church's Shoes
I'd like to revive this thread to say that I picked up a pair of Church's 'Custom Grade' Chetwynds on last 173 recently, and leather-quality wise these guys are on-par with my C&J handgrades. Do you carry a shoe horn with you always?

Z Zegna quality
I have a ligth Z Zegna sportscoat for summer vear. i found it on sale. Quality is OK. a little better that Hugo Boss. At discount it could be good value- Niels

I have 4 pairs of Church's none pre-prada and the quality is fine compared to the C&J and Alden i own and definitely superior to a pair of Allen Edmonds.- Niels

I bought an Omega Seamaster yesterday. I can't get enough of looking at it. It is IMHO the most elegant looking sport watch. Rolex always makes me think that they are made only to impress other people.- Niels

How is Johnston & Murphy Made in Italy?
I had a pair of Johnston & Murphy, made in Italy, about 10 years ago. Quality was decent but it is not a high end shoe and definitely glued.- Niels

Getting rid of salt on shoes?
I also use a wet cloth as soon as I get home. If the shoe looks dryed out I polish it if need be with leather grease.- Niels
