I wear 10.5-11 in everything except the Patten Skagways which I wear a 10. I got the G. Pattens in 11 and they fit pretty good. The sole is really stiff so I think 10.5 might have been a little better because I get heel slip on the 11s if they aren’t laced up super tight. But it’s not a huge deal.- newyorkdork

They’re really well made but the sizing didn’t work for me. You need a really high volume foot to be able to fill it up. I usually wear 11. Bought them in a 10 and even if I had tongue pads, there was still no way I could wear them without the heel slipping out.- newyorkdork

Depends the Skagways you're talking about. I wear 11 in almost everything (don't have Poundmakers though). I have the Skagway G. Pattens in 11 and they fit great. I have the Skagway Pattens from a few years ago and they're definitely big. I'd prefer a smaller size for sure, but they're wearable...- newyorkdork

I asked ChatGPT to recommend some brands similar to Visvim. Response was pretty accurate with the exception of Needles which I like but isn't aesthetically akin to Vis.- newyorkdork

I wouldn't expect any problems with shrinkage as long as you wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. I wash all my clothes like this unless they get something noticeable on them.- newyorkdork

@Fycus had some good recs above and I’d also add Peyote Bird for nice cuffs and rings. You could also get vintage Native American silver but it’s hard to know if you’re getting something genuine unless you go through a gallery/dealer.- newyorkdork
