Seagrams Seven is a pretty solid cheap Canadian. And it's cheap. 7 is always a staple, but 7 and Crown really don't cover the same territory IMO.- nathanKent

Does anybody else favor another Tennessee or Canadian over the two obvious choices? Jack and Crown are definitely drinkable, but I personally would rather have Dickel or 40 Creek. I keep Jack and Crown on hand, however, because that's what everybody else knows to look for.- nathanKent

The lack of flash may be a bit of a problem. Agreed. Incredible picture quality, but lugging around a flash defeats the purpose of a point and shoot IMO.- nathanKent

Most drinkable cheap booze in your opinion?
If I was doing the experimenting, the vodka would never make it to the filters I've had some friends try this and also watched it on TV. My friends said it worked, but they were probably plastered a few shots in. The TV proved it wrong. I think it was Mystery Busters or something...- nathanKent

Agreed. Cheap liquor usually messes you up with fewer drinks so it's economical in that sense too. Yep. I've never tried this, but I've seen it done. Apparently you can take a cheap bottle of vodka and run it through a normal water filter a few times, and the end result is something much...- nathanKent

First of all, I don't know where you shop, but BT is at least $8 - 10 cheaper than any of those three. Second, the three that you named are a hell of a lot sweeter than BT, but lack the nice char and complexity of BT. BT is no JB Black. Chrohn's disease is quite a bit more serious than Celiac, is it not? It's also prevalent among Ashkenazi jews, whereas everyone and his sister now has Celiac. It is definitely a value purchase. Hardly. It comes in north of what you'd pay for a bottle of Woodford Reserve, Knob Creek, or Maker's Mark, all three of which are superior drinks. I'd put it on about the same level as Jim Beam Black.- nathanKent
