Is suede really better for rain? Really??

If Simon Compton is so sure suede stands up to the rain why did he make his suede bomber jacket reversible specifically so it can be turned inside-out in the rain?

    Advice on pants rise

I think those are low-rise pants that are supposed to sit just above your hips (like most casual jeans etc). Definitely the pics where they are lower look more natural. You have to buy pants that are designed to sit high if you want to wear them high, otherwise they just look like you've hoisted...

    WAYWRN: Classic Menswear, Casual Style

Is that the Drakes orange/peachy-coloured OCBD? I have that shirt and struggle to match it well with other colours. Funnily enough I have trousers in a similar colour to yours and haven't thought of putting them together, but your combo looks nice.

    Are these trousers too wide?

    That's the plan! Thanks!

    Are these trousers too wide?

The Casatlantics arrived - I think these have the loose-fitting casual look I am after without being so excessively baggy. Any opinions?

    Are these trousers too wide?

How do the Tangiers fit on the waist? I'm usually between 32 and 34 (so 33 I guess!) but they only have the 34 in stock. I've ordered them and am hoping they will be ok as shipping, import and return fees will be quite high if they aren't a good fit. Although presumably having the waist reduced...

    Are these trousers too wide?

Uniqlo. I am aware that they are more "fashion" than probably suits the tastes of many here!

    Are these trousers too wide?

Thanks for the input. And yes, I've only rolled them because I am not sure if I'm keeping or returning them yet. I get what you are saying about top and bottom half looking in synch. Which is why I had chosen more loosely fitting shirts (particularly the lighter green linen in the 2nd pic) as I...

    Are these trousers too wide?

I probably did, if you were raving around London / the south-east!

    Are these trousers too wide?

I like the fuller trouser look but wonder if these are taking it a bit too far? I noticed Derek Guy made a Twitter post recently showing a guy with clearly clownishly-large trousers and the caption "Too many Derek Guy tweets" and I wonder if these are heading in that direction? (Obviously they...

    The Uniqlo Thread

Yes, they seem to fit fine to me! Anyone got any thoughts on the lilac jeans I posted? I only got one "wow" emoji so far and I'm not sure if it was a good or bad wow! I do like them but not sure what they will go with in my wardrobe. And searching for inspiration on Google all I found was a...

    The Uniqlo Thread

Well I'm usually a 32 or 34, with a 32 sometimes being a bit tight and a 34 sometimes being a bit loose. But these handily come in a 33 (the largest they come in) which seems to fit me well.

    The Uniqlo Thread

Hi all, I bought the purple/lilac wide leg jeans and really like them. But they're not the sort of thing I usually wear and not sure what they go with! Can anyone give me some tips about how to wear them? I bought the matching U t-shirt to go with them too but not sure I like them together...
