What are your go-to brands for Jeans? I did not realise that finding a nice pair of jeans that are not overly skinny or aggressively tapered was a difficult task, unless I am just looking in the wrong places.

My iron rangers are pobably my most comfortable pair of boots, the toebox is nice and roomy, which is great for me because I always found other boots/shoes to really squish my toes. If they ever come back in stock I plan to get a black pair

The Tailors' Thread: Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions

Thought I should get some general thoughts about the fit. Sorry for the angle, struggled a bit taking these myself.

What's the consensus around made to measure suiting options around Melbourne? I have been informed of places to avoid, but I am curious about your positive experiences and recommendations

Does anyone know a place online or in Melbourne where you can pick up some nice henley tees other than Corlection? The few they sell look good, but they have been out size S on the colours I want for a while now.

I have an old MJ Bale jacket that I want to get the sleeves shortened, unfortunately I will need to get it taken up at the shoulders due to the working buttons on the cuffs. Does anyone know of an alterations place in Melbourne (or surrounding suburbs) that can do this well? And if so, how much...

With the weather starting to turn I have been looking for a peacoat, does anyone know a good place online to get one? I quite like the design of the Spier & Mackay "Navy Melton - Classic Peacoat", compared to the ones with flap pockets. I was wondering if there were any alternatives, because...

I have been hunting for some nice dress shirts, I recently got a Pini Parma shirt on sale. It is pretty good in terms of fit for me, but I really don't like the Windsor collars they use, so unfortunately I won't wear it with a tie.

For more information they are Loake Aldwych's in a size 9, I did not buy them online, I got them fitted in store. This is the first pair of any shoe I have had that has creased this noticeably and quick, but this is also my first pair with a stiffer leather, so I was unsure of this is to be...

I have a (semi) new pair of shoes I have been trying to break in, which has been a slow process. The main problem I have been having is with pinching in the vamp, they are in shoe trees whenever they are not being used, does anyone have any strategies to soften the leather? Or any other methods...

I have a rather slim waist compared to my chest, I tend to fit pretty comfortably in the MJ Bale drop 8. So in that case if you still have the slim Mocklino Hopsack, I would be happy to buy that off you.

I am quite interested in the SM hopsack, don't been know much about the SM fitting as I have never worn one, how would you describe the difference in fit between the slim and contemporary?

Ended up getting the shoes, they look good an feel good. One thing I will say is when they broke in a little they because very squeaky. I wish I could upload a video because it's almost comical how much they squeak, like an old door. Might be a novice question, but I was wondering if this is...

Re Oxfords: I ended up making a trip to McClouds and tried a pair of Loakes in a wider fit that seemed to fit pretty nicely. But what is the consensus on their quality? I tried the Aldwych I believe.
