The Official Drakes knock-off thread - look-alikes and the producers behind Drakes

No idea who makes Drakes chore jackets, but I’m keen to know myself. I’ve just looked at Drakes length, which is listed at 29.25” on a 40” chest. Vétra, who I think makes quite nice looking jackets, has the length at 28 - 28.5” for approximately £300 less. What’s 0.75 inch worth to you?

The Official Drakes knock-off thread - look-alikes and the producers behind Drakes

I just went down this road. I wanted a pair of grey wool trousers that felt more casual. Everything felt too formal or too frumpy. I ended up buying these https://aubinandwills.com/products/helethorpe-wool-trouser-charcoal I’ve never bought from this brand before, but I saw them in the window...

    Orslow

Sounds like Orslow shirts fit you like they fit me. I am 6’2” and have chambray shirts in size 3. Nice in the body, a bit short in the sleeves. Nothing too ridiculous, just a little less length than I would prefer. I find that gitman vintage M is the best fit off the rack for me. Slim, high...

The unofficial Drake's London Appreciation Thread

Hello! On and off lurker, first time writer. I wanted to ask you Drakes fans about shoes. Over the last couple years, my attire has shifted more to the casual Drakes / workwear adjacent side of things. I tend to wear navy or olive chore jackets or cotton tailoring, university striped oxford...

I’m 6’2” and wear the 3. It’s a nice, clean no break for me, or I do a small turn up that hovers just above a shoe with a higher profile.

Yea! It’s really a magical sort of fit. I prefer the (marginally higher) rise on the 107, but the combination of rise, waist, seat, and thigh on the 710 just work so well together.

I would definitely buy 105 if I was buying Orslow again. I recently got a pair of Resolute 710 and they are working really well for me. Nice slim straight fit, decent rise, really nice fluffy denim.

Re: 107, I didn’t fit in a 2 and the 3 was the “comfy” side of fitting. I found them would stretch heavily in the waist and seat, but I still wouldn’t have been able to size down. I got my 3s taken in at Blackhorse Lane and they fit perfect now. The tailor there said she was reducing them...

The Official Drakes knock-off thread - look-alikes and the producers behind Drakes

Love the idea of this thread. Thanks to all contributors for the solid intel. I bought a pair of the Dukeflex from Astorflex on recommendation and they are head and shoulders above any other desert boots I’ve tried. The leather midsole adds a world of comfort compared to other makers. Any...

How is the sizing on the 107 cords? Do they fit the same as the jeans?

PARABOOT APPRECIATION THREAD 2018 - NEWS, PICTURES, CLOTHING, ACCESSORIES, ETC.

I bought my black leather Avignon from Stuart’s in London with a 20% off code. They often have a code that can applied to anything. https://www.stuartslondon.com/ I bought my black leather Michael from Trunk in London with 30% end of season sale. For once the last pair in stock was my size 46...

PARABOOT APPRECIATION THREAD 2018 - NEWS, PICTURES, CLOTHING, ACCESSORIES, ETC.

I can vouch for your advice. I stayed with my true size of 46, fitted a tongue pad because I have really flat feet, and my Michaels fit better every time I wear them. I went for thick socks and it’s a whole other thing. I’ve never had socks transform the feel of a pair oh shoes this...

PARABOOT APPRECIATION THREAD 2018 - NEWS, PICTURES, CLOTHING, ACCESSORIES, ETC.

These look brilliant and I love that they’re worn in a such practical way! I found Paraboot while searching for “smart,” proper shoes that could be worn everyday and they have really delivered on that.

Thanks for this. I got some tongue pads and will report back on how they go. I’m guessing I should fit them on the underside of the tongue, right where the laces hit?
