Looking to build Italian Casual-wear Wardrobe for Upcoming Italy Trip

What's the best hotel you've ever stayed at . . . and why?
Waldorf Astoria room 15H. Insane. After that, funnest hotel I've stayed at is the Surfcomber in Miami. Took my wife and my (then) two month old, and it's just the very best atmosphere for relaxing. Party vibes, but not obnoxiously so. Honorable mentions to Hotel Megamare in south Italia...- leapyourbar

Which suit makers visit Southern California?
I did a suit through Steve at Gentlemen's Footwear from Orazio Luciano and it came out amazing. If I'm telling you the truth, it's as good, if not better, than the bespoke suit Luigi Solito did for me (he visits San Fran).- leapyourbar

Why would you buy an expensive designer suit vs having a suit made?
Having had suits made by Solito and Orazio Luciano this year, I would take this over spending triple the amount at Isaia, Brioni, Cucinelli, etc. etc. Maybe some people don't want the headache of multiple fittings, I guess? I've wondered the same.- leapyourbar
