٭٭٭ No Man Walks Alone - Official Affiliate Thread ٭٭٭ (a.k.a. I shouldn't have slept on it)

hi! sorry if this has been asked, but could I get the measures of the Ikiji navy blazer in L and XL? I saw one elsewhere in XL with really narrow shoulders (44,5 cms), don't know if it's usual with the brand or the one I saw was just shrunk

    Cale (Japanese brand)

Hey everyone, I recently came across this japanese brand called "Cale". Their clothing looks fine online but would love some feedback from someone who knows them first-hand. How is it quality-wise? How do their trousers fit? And their jackets? They seem to go for a relaxed fit but there isn't...

Thanks clee! Beautiful coat indeed. Love DBF too, it's a goal of mine to own a coat from them (or a Kaptain Sunshine one). Some day... Some day.

This is a comfortable aesthetic for me, yes. Though I'm trying to up my game, I do have to keep it dressed-down so it doesn't get weird at the workplace and, just in general, where I live. I do think the lapel could be a little bigger, if that's what you were saying? Thank you for answering

    The Overcoat Thread

Thanks for the answer. I rarely use a sport coat, though I'm trying to do it more often, but want to keep it more on the casual side (I do use dark indigo and off-white jeans regularly), or in a hybrid between casual and elegant. What do you think of this other option? It's still a little...

    The Overcoat Thread

Thanks for the replies. Yes I bought it second hand because the quality is great (pics don't make justice to it in that sense), but def had doubts on the fitting. I still have a chance to change it, so may have to do just that. Anyway, here's a pic of the pattern, I like it a lot. As for clee's...

Any opinions on this coat? I'm more used to bigger, wider coats, so not sure how a slimmer one should look. Do the short sleeves look weird?

    MC General Chat

How old is too old for a vintage overcoat? Say it's made out of good quality cotton or wool (100% either way). How many years can a coat last, assuming a fairly good caring of it? Is it an element to judge when shopping? Say, I found a beautiful coat, but it was made in the 60s: Does it matter?

agreed. It's 2-3 cms shorter in the shoulders than what fits me well, but still want to get it so bad

Hi, any idea who the maker of this coat could be? I only know it's japanese.

    Anyone recognizes this japanese maker?

Hi everyone, so I found this coat which I'm in love with, but would like to know more about it's background. It only shows the symbol in the photo I'm attaching. Does it ring any bells?

Ralph Lauren lines, and 'who makes what' - a definitive guide

you're right Sri Lanka is spelled together, lol. I'm guessing that's it then? I've also searched a lot and haven't found PL made there, so it's sus... Then again, why would you make a fake and explicitly place it somewhere it's not actually manufactured?!

How would you style these pants?

thank you and @paxonus. These are fine guidelines.

Ralph Lauren lines, and 'who makes what' - a definitive guide

Hi clee, these pants in particular: They look quality to me, but just want to make sure.

sorry if this has been already said, but it's my understanding that Purple Label was only made in Italy. However, I've come across some pants sold as Purple Label but they are made in Sri Lanka. Do they also manufacture PL in that country?
