    These were worn for about five months until it got too hot out. They have one wash. There are some faint fades in them but otherwise good condition. They are the 14.5 oz indigo selvedge.

    Buy the straight leg ones and have them tapered- the straights have a higher rise than the slims.

    I tried on the quilted jacket from this season and I agree about the stiffness. When you wear it unbuttoned the jacket sticks straight out.

    I have to second the praise for the new chinos. They are a slim fit with a very tapered leg. I'm liking them so much I want to taper my other pants the same way.

    Interesting story- I ordered the chinos and they sent me a women's shirt on accident. I returned the the shirt to Sears and called them. They overnighted the chinos at no charge, so free chinos.     I got a small and at 6'2" 180 it's a little big on me. I'm going to soak it in piping hot water to shrink it. I really can't believe LEC doesn't have XS. On a similar note, I bought the Land's End down jacket and it is suprising slim, especially in the arms.

    I just bought these at 25% off from Lands End. I like the Red Wing Wabasha boot but don't want to pay top dollar for something that's not recraftable. Canvas has a similar option but with a big Vibram sole and a name brand. I'm going to swap for some rawhide laces if I keep them.
