Thoughts?
Looks fine to me, seems to fit well at the shoulders, sleeves aren't too long, not puckering or straining at the middle button. It's a sport coat, so imo it's fine if its a bit shorter especially if you're wearing it casually, which you are in that picture. I think the classic menswear rules...- garbiel

How to stop overdressing
I think one should dress-for-the-occasion, within limits. I'm lucky enough that I can wear what is nowadays considered "formal clothes" because of my job but off duty I stick go more casual with cardigans and slacks replacing my sport coats and blazers. Maybe you can do the inverse? I don't...- garbiel
