    Hello there. I got food grease on my shoe today and wondered if it's possible to get it out. I have tried saphir renovateur but that didn't budge it. I guess I have to accept it as part of the patina. I appreciate your help if it's possible though. See pic

    You could try rubbing a deer bone over it. Double Monk sell them. I've had great results using that on scratches - but more with cordovan. It may work the same with calf. Just ask them...

    Watchtrader in Melbourne is a good place to look for second hand in good condition. I've bought 2 watches from Darryl there and recommend him highly. He has all stock listed online with great pictures / descriptions and you can visit him in his very cool offices off Flinders Lane by appointment.
