Strange question, but did they have any of their black leather Chelsea boots at the sale? They’re not a typical popular Drake’s item so it may have gone under radar. I’m hoping they make a reappearance at the next online archive sale as I should have picked them up earlier this year.- csm88

No noticeable difference in the fit. The cotton twill is softer from the get go though. My canvas one is 3+ years old now and is well worn in. It breaks in for sure.- csm88

Chest measurement was a bit bigger than what is listed on Drake’s website for a size 42, but otherwise accurate. I got the forestière from Ssense though, who despite all their other nonsense actually take proper measurements. The forestière is 100% linen and is slightly less hefty than the linen...- csm88

Great question! Had I known Drake’s was going to phase out the ticket pocket on the raglan coats, I would have snapped up a light grey herringbone in 2021 or the Blackwatch version.- csm88

In case this is useful for anyone wondering about conversion between the numerical and more recent letter sizing of Drake’s Shetland wool sweaters, please see attached. Both are new and it seems the older 40 is pretty bang on to the recent size Large.- csm88

I took at 42 and I'm typically a 40 in Drake's (with the exception of some knitwear and jackets at 42). I had to try on the fleece to figure out the fit I liked though.
