How much did you pay for your wife's/fiancee's engagement ring?

I'm a bit of a disaster story. I bought my then-fiancee a Cartier 0.91C for roughly $12K. It didn't work out. Now I need to figure out how to sell the ring... :(

    Android phone recommendations/discussion?

OK I just installed Swype. It is the coolest thing. The beauty of it is that I no longer want to hurl my Desire out of the window when I'm writing emails...

    Android phone recommendations/discussion?

Even using swype? Unrelated - Anyone using xScope browser? Installed it today; liking it a lot so far. Funny you should ask..my brother has been telling me to d/l it for ages, but when I looked for it on the Marketplace last night I couldn't find it. N/B: I'm an absolute tech marsupial and have...

    Android phone recommendations/discussion?

This has probably been discussed to death, but I've had an HTC Desire for the past 6 months and damn the keyboard absolutely s**ts me to tears. Great phone otherwise, but I can't wait to get back to an iPhone.

That's because it's a Sea Dweller, not a Submariner. I knew that much from looking at it, but is there any other difference between the SD and the Sub? I really like the look of the cleaner crystal without date cyclops.

Did anyone make it to the Herringbone sales? I was after the Woden blazer but nothing left in my size unfortunately.

Help finding Seiko 5 simliar to the SCVS013

Try jomashop.com I have no experience with them but they sell a large range of watch brands and seem to have a reasonably reputation. They have many Seikos as well if I recall correctly. Would it take you very long to save up another $300? If not, perhaps you could save and jump onto Seiya...

    Bespoke from Singapore (pic heavy!)

Nice use of the vintage kimono silk(?)...looks like the red fan fabric! Overall fits nice but the first thing I also noticed was the high suppression that Vox mentioned. Will be moving to Singapore next year so I think I'm going to give these guys a try!

Out of interest, what would I expect to pay (full price) for a Herringbone suit? The website is quite unhelpful in this regard. Between $1,195 and $1,295 usually I believe. I just bought one last week for the former (but got my GST back when I flew out), but I recall seeing another style which...
