Removing the pleats wouldn't be my first choice, but if it is something you really want to do, it can be done. However, I would not do it if your tailor hessitates to do it. Altering jacket too small
Thanks for the returning goods suggestion, DocHoldiday, but I'll leave it to Fate and just consider it a lesson learnt . But I've just thought of a solution to my woes. Black blazers.
Black is a colour which should be reserved for formal dress. A black blazer is a complete oxymoron as it is stictly for sporty casual/semi-informal dress. If may be "common" but that is the best possible reason to avoid it. After all do you want to look common? I would have to mostly agree...- ameza21
