It features soft shoulders and a minimally lined interior. And a modern "three-roll-two" button stance.
The quality of the 47% CASHMERE, 53% LINEN fabric on this sportcoat is superb. Loro Piana calls it "Baby Cashmere." It has an incredibly soft hand. I cannot emphasize that enough. Loro Piana mills some of the best fabric in the world for its jackets. This jacket is no exception.
The weave of the fabric can be described as an open weave "hopsack," which will allow for very good air circulation. Combined with linen content of the fabric, the hopsack weave makes this jacket an excellent choice for the warmer months. Note: The weave itself has "slubs," which add a very interesting sartorial detail. Please note that these slubs are intentional imperfections that add visual interest to the fabric. Slubby fabrics are sought after by some menswear connessieurs who appreciate a more casual aesthetic. Please note that returns will NOT be accepted for these slubs.
The icing on the cake is the genuine suede goatskin back collar. Super premium material not seen on many jackets. Would look great with the collar flipped up to show the suede.
