Up for sale is a Raffaele Caruso for Adriano & Sons tuxedo. Brand new without tags. NEVER worn (outside of tailor fitting). Adriano & Sons went defunct a few years back. It's a shame because they had more classically-proportioned garments than the current mainline Caruso (which skews skinny fit).
Tagged a size 40R and fits true-to-size.
It has very "SF-approved" specs for a tuxedo: one-button stance, silk buttons, structured shoulders, black plain weave wool fabric, satin peak lapels, unvented jacket and medium-rise pleated pants. About as "staple" as it gets for a tuxedo.
I snapped this tux up about three years ago and brought it to the tailor immediately. I wanted it as a "back up" to my midnight blue shawl collar tuxedo. I picked it up and immediately put it in my closet, which I have a habit of turning into a "clothing museum." I am doing and closet clean and since it's redundant and hasn't been worn, it must go. I'm really torn on whether I should keep it. My loss is your gain. Don't let me get a second thought and decide to keep it. It really is a great tux.
$499 $485 shipped CONUS. I will ship to the rest of the world if you pick up the added shipping cost.

-DO NOT use a ruler or a retractable metal measuring tape (the kind used by carpenters). Those will give you inaccurate measurements due to their form factor.
